About me

Affiliation: Laboratory of Palynology and Palaeobotany, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy
I am a PhD student in Models and Methods for Material and Environmental Sciences, carrying out my research work at the Laboratory of Palinology and Palaeobotany of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. My thesis is in palaeoecology and palynology, focused on pollen analysis and the reconstruction of past plant biodiversity and vegetation dynamics in wetland environments in Italy. I am also deeply interested in numerical ecology methods and informatic tools applied to palaeoenvironmental research.
I am a member of various communities focused on palaeoecology and palaeobotany: BRAIN - Botanical Records of Archaeobotany Italian Network; Thematic Working Group on Plant Biodiversity of the Past (TWG-PBP) of the Italian Botanical Society (SBI); PalaeOpen COST Action.
